195 Contract awarded to Abellio London West from Metroline West. PVR 15. New Euro6 diesel SD. 15/4/17.
U5* Contract awarded to Abellio London West from Metroline West. PVR 11>5. New Euro6 diesel SD. 29/4/17.

Tranche 569
143 Contract retained by Metroline Travel. PVR 14. 2010 Euro5 diesel SD. 24/6/17.
260 Contract retained by Metroline Travel. PVR 17>18. New Euro6 hybrid DD. 24/6/17.
302 Contract retained by Metroline Travel. PVR 16>17. New Euro6 hybrid DD. 24/6/17.

*In simple terms, 350 and U5 swap route between Hayes & Harlington and Stockley Park as per consultation, but will also swap numbers. The current 350 which will become the rerouted U5 will retain current E400MMCs. The current U5 will become the rerouted 350 (with frequency decreased to every 20 and converted to single decks).

  1. So the 350 will go to Uxbridge and the U5 will go to T5? This wasn't mentioned in the consultation unless I missed something. Can someone explain the routing for both?

    1. Basically in real life it is as consultation indeed.

      But what's done here is that U5's contract has been awarded as route 350 (running between Heathrow Terminal 5 and Hayes & Harlington) instead of being awarded as U5.

      350's current contract has been amended to be known as U5 with existing E400MMCs and slightly higher PVR (11) than now (PVR 8).

      Sorry for my late reply, but that's the confusion TfL has brought on us all. Hope you understand ;)
