Withdrawn Wright StreetLites

You know the drill. Wright StreetLites. Introduced in 2010 with the first demonstrators appearing in 2012. Only available in Door Forward (DF) configuration, so 10.2m/10.8m until Wheel Forward (WF) [8.8m] and Max [11.5m] variants in 2011/2012 respectively and yes I ripped this from Wikipedia.

Go-Ahead London WS33-48:
WS20271 (SN64CUY),
Rowan Road
The first batch of StreetLites withdrawn, were in fact temporary models. Or stand-ins so to speak. The original order for 192 was for Daimler engined ones (WS49-64), though Go-Ahead were given Cummins engined WS33-48 in the meantime as the order was mistaken on Wright's end. The 192's order was the first large Daimler-engined order for the StreetLite, a new option for the Euro 6 drivetrain.
These were based at Northumberland Park (NP) for the 192 and returned back to Wright once the actual order for 192 phased in service. Some re-acquired to London for an existing allocation bid for 463 by Quality Line.

Metroline STL1470 (SL15ZGR)
A sole 10.8m StreetLite ordered as a trial of the type and one of 3 buses allocated to new limited stop route 714 (Luton - St Albans - New Barnet), a short lived route and short lived bus at the company as the StreetLite wasn't to Metroline's satisfaction in that year span. Right after Arriva retained 450, STL1470 which was vacant was bought to be extensively trialled, travelling long distances before/after type training at N/TH, though it didn't enter service at all. The next owner was soon revealed to be Sullivan Buses, acquired for route 327 in June 2018.

Tower Transit WV46101-11
WV46101 SN64CVS, Acton Old Town Hall
New to route 444 as part of Tower Transit's first gains, out of Picketts Lock (PI)... which didn't make it out to reality. So the 'temporary' base of Lea Interchange (LI) became permanent through to the end of 444's contract whereby it converted to part hydrogen (released from RV1s withdrawal) to donate WVs to new win 228 at Westbourne Park (X) via 236's frequency cut. Then brand new route 218 took some more as part of existing allocation.

Most have been reused as above but a few spare won't do much but hinder your costs.

Euro 6 emissions, Daimler OM934 206hp engine coupled to a Voith DIWA826.6 4-speed gearbox.

WV46102 SN64CVF: Bought by Trustybus, converted to single door and into Central Connect branding.
WV46108 SN64CVM: Bought by Centrebus D&G Bus.
WV46109 SN64CVO: Bought by Centrebus D&G Bus.
WV46110 SN64CVP: Bought by Centrebus D&G Bus.
WV46111 SN64CVR: Bought by Trustybus, converted to single door and into Central Connect branding.

RATP WS20274 (SN65OKM)
WS20274 (SN65OKM), Pollards Hill

A sole 8.8m StreetLite ordered as a trial of the type and one whom failed the test for route E11 and another route I believe though it ended up at Tolworth (TV) for route K4. Originally numbered WS20225 but of course changed as with RATP's weird numbering scheme, though that number didn't get applied on the bus either way. It spent only two months then ended up at Quality Line as a 463 spare at Epsom (EB) through to 2019 until it became Vehicle Off Road.

RATP London Transit WLS30037-40/WV46221-224
WV46101 SN64CVS, Acton Old Town Hall
New as Tower Transit's WV46221-224 to route 228 from Westbourne Park (X), a route won from Metroline West using New/Existing. The existing was ex-236 StreetLites, whom received a frequency cut in addition to route 444 converting to part hydrogen (released from RV1s withdrawal) to donate WVs to new win 228.
Merrily these have served, until RATP ownership of the garage.
Shortly after these were stood down in favour of spare Enviro200s.

Shortly after, withdrawn.

Euro 6 emissions, Daimler OM934 206hp engine coupled to a Voith DIWA826.6 4-speed gearbox.

  3. I believe RATP's SN65OKM is withdrawn as it has not been in service since July 2019 and is listed as VOR.

  4. I think those Go-Ahead batches WS33-34, 37, 39, 41-43, 45 & 47-48 may have returned to Go-Ahead at Croydon C along with the 463
