I will summarise the big year in losses and wins, starting off with Abellio London.
Abellio London:
I will start off with Abellio as they have many surprises, in form of winning and losing.
As we all know this year, Abellio had many losses and wins.
Some of their wins was; 49, 109, 201, 415, E1, S4
Their losses in the form of: 100, 112, 322,
And they've retained the 407 with hybrid single deckers and a double decker hybrid which is thought to be the E400MMC Hybrid with 109's batch coming on to Beddington Cross (BC) where 109 and S4 are to be based from and where 322 and 407 currently stand at. Walworth (WL) will take 415 over, Hayes (WS) lost 112 to Metroline Travel from Cricklewood (W) with double deckers temporarily until the ordered Alexander Dennis Enviro200 Dart 10.8m buses come and contract stated Metroline West though. 201 will also be based from Beddington Cross (BC) with the same single decker order as 407 most likely. E1 was won from Hayes (WS) as an exchange for the loss of 112. Walworth (WL) lost 100 too, but exchange for the route is 415. Sadly enough they haven't won the G1, now looking at Go-Ahead have both G1 and 322 at the same time, like Connex back in the years before! But gaining 432 as an extra from Arriva London based currently at Norwood (N) with mainly Volvo B7TL (10 (VLA 74-78)/10.6m (VLA 1-73)) Alexander ALX400s with spare DAF DB250 10.2m Alexander ALX400s (DLA) coming in because 78 VLAs isn't enough for 2, 176, 415, 417, 432 and 690 all together, hence the DLAs come on 415, 417 and 432, with 690's journeys crosslinked with 415. Yes this has been a long post with no paragraph breaks and I did notice that, if I did seperate it, the post would be long enough really! The MPDs spare from 322 soon may be (well, some) spares for S4, the ones with white-on-black-blinds may have S4 in them. But the green-on-black blinded MPDs at BC contain 152, 315 and G1 in them (obviously yes 322 and P13).
Arriva London:
Known to have many losses this year compared to any other operator this year. They have lost 34, 109/N109, 125, 415, 432 and 444. With 34 based from Palmers Green (AD), 125 and 444 from Edmonton Cambridge (EC), 109/N109 from Brixton (BN), 415 and 432 from Norwood (N). The types for these routes are Alexander Dennis Enviro400 10.2m (T) buses for 34, DAF DB250 10.2m Alexander ALX400 (DLA) buses for 109/N109 (DLA 322-345), 125 and some for 415 and 432 as a result of not enough Volvos at Norwood (N) with the main allocation of 415 and 432 being Volvo B7TL Alexander ALX400 (VLA 1-78). And the 444 uses those rusty old heap of junk, known to be Wright Cadet 10.1m buses with a DAF chassis, many people have complained about 444. 34 and 125 have been lost to Metroline Travel from Potters Bar (PB) and a first entrance to Walthamstow Central for them, 109/N109 and 415 to Abellio London from Beddington Cross (BC) and Walworth (WL) respectively, 432 to Go-Ahead London most likely from Stockwell (SW) and a crosslinked journey from 468 (allocated from Camberwell [Q]). I am wondering how 690 will have it's journey work without being crosslinked to 'now-former-Arriva-route' 415. Their latest win was E10 from the TGM subsidiary, with 230 from the second latest win which was in June 2013.
Metroline:
Metroline seem to have a first entrance to Walthamstow after probably some time and winning 34 made the bonus to entering, and seem to rule Finchley by taking 125 off the contract from Arriva too. Both to be based from Potters Bar (PB) with cast offs (likely) and the intended buses sent off to Zone 1 routes. Their win of 112 seemed to be good enough with ADL having delievered the DELs late than contract start, Transbus Trident 9.9m Alexander ALX400 (TA), spares from Cricklewood (W) with 112 drivers from Hayes (WS) to drive the route as they are fond of with the Tridents as they murk around on route 350. It is likely the TAs will come again on 34 after their second A406 visit this year. Their West subsidiary lost the E1, E3 and E10. All Ealing routes, which had Enviro400 (E1/3) or Enviro200 8.9m Darts (E10). Now under Abellio, London United and Arriva TGM's hands.
Go-Ahead London:
They won 322 and 432 and retained 191 and G1. With 322 and 432 most likely move to Stockwell (SW) with 432 having a crosslinked journey from 468 in the peaks. Contract specified 322 and G1 flywheel buses, or to call 'flybrid' (flywheel attached buses making them hybrid, why not call it 'flybrid'?). It is likely 432 will get 453 cast offs as a result. 453 will convert to New Routemaster operation leaving the Enviro400s at Mandela Way (MW) to be put in use. With routes 624 and 658 that have a crosslinked journey with 453 move to Camberwell (Q) as a second result. 658 partly operates from Bexleyheath (BX) too but will move fully to Camberwell (Q). They also won 100 from Mandela Way (MW) known to be Alexander Dennis Enviro200 9.3m buses with flywheels attached sooner or later but the buses will be arriving late. So it's possible the Darts and some E200s to be leased to GAL until the E200s for 100 arrive. They've also lost 201 which operates from Merton (AL) at the current with old and tired former 393 buses, Wright Cadet 9.2m buses with a VDL chassis (or DAF). They've also won 192, yet to be confirmed but likely E200s with flywheels. Metrobus now under Go Ahead, lost 54 and 75 to Stagecoach of which Metrobus had it with Scania N230UD Olympuses now scattered to Rainham (BE) for their school routes.
London United:
Winning E3 with 10 cast offs. 10 converting to New Routemaster made space for 23 Scania OmniCitys spare from 10. E3 has a PVR of 26 so 3 from 148's allocation was thrown on. With 148 also converted to New Routemaster, the remaining left for 281/681 from Fulwell (FW) with E3 and 10 based at Stamford Brook (V).
Stagecoach London:
54 and 75 with 'Gemini 3 buses' turned out to be Enviro400 hybrids and intended Gemini 3s went to Plumstead (PD)'s route 53 instead. There has been many shambles
