I would like to make this 'special' and note down the 'special' buses we might encounter these days in London.
I am going to list a few special buses in different categories.
But first, I'd like to tell you recent news.

Abellio London:
Routes 3 and 211 rumoured for New Bus for London (NBfL) conversion.
Route 159 has passed away to Abellio as of 12 December 2015 and will be allocated with LT602-40. Route 452 to be extended to Vauxhall Bus Station from Wandsworth Road Station in January 2016. Routes 367, 481, C10, E5 and E7 rumoured to be allocated with Enviro200 MMC buses.
Some 14/64reg hybrids in Battersea (QB) blinded for route 159.
ADL E40H 10.3m Enviro400 MMC hybrid 2498 (YY64TYW) parked in Twickenham (TF) for inspection.
Arriva London:
15 Ts from Tottenham (AR), T145-59 to transfer to Norwood (N) for recent retain for route 417, which is part of a domino effect.
15 VLAs from Norwood (N), presumably VLA1-15 to transfer to Edmonton (EC) for route 123 to 'upgrade' the fleet from the apparently horrible 54reg batch (that's VLA79-104), of which some do not have emission mods installed whereas all the VLAs in Norwood (N) do.
Route 50 rumoured to be allocated with VLA144-163 from route 159 and possible transfer to Norwood (N).
Route 59 to fully be from Brixton (BN). Currently 10 buses of it's allocation park up at Norwood (N).
Route 64 rumoured to be allocated with T122-44 from route 250.
Route 250 rumoured to transfer to Brixton (BN) with existing VDL DB300 fleet from loss of route 159.
Route 341 to be reallocated with other buses inside Tottenham (AR) to compensate for part of it's allocation sent elsewhere.
Arriva The Shires & Arriva Southern Counties to merge with Arriva London.
Garston (GR) and Grays (GY) to merge into Arriva London North.
Dartford (DT) to merge with Arriva London South.
Route E10 unknown movement to.
Go-Ahead London:
Route 36 to have frequency increase following route 436 reroute. PVR increased from 35 to 51 using buses from route 436.
Routes 93 and 155 received new Volvo B5LH 10.5m Wright Eclipse Gemini 3 (new face), route 155 allocated WHV81-104 and route 93 with WHV105-110.
Routes 80 and 164 received new ADL E20D 10.8m Enviro200, route 80 allocated SE268-273 and route 164 with SE274-287.
Route 436 rerouted at Vauxhall to serve Battersea Park Station. PVR reduced from 33 to 17.
Route P5 to receive two new ADL E20D 10.2m Enviro200 buses.
Enviro200 MMCs ordered to be above number SE291.
Metroline:
Route 168 conversion to New Bus for London (NBfL) as of 12 December 2015.
Route 307 allocated with existing 60reg from Cricklewood (W)?
London United:
New Wright StreetLite WF 8.9m, SN65OKM ordered. But it's job is unknown. A photo of it can be seen in the link here. (Not my photo)
Route H37 to receive a weekend 24hour service from 8 January 2016.
