A whole rennovation, 322, 415, 432 and G1 receive newer buses.

This post will mention 415, 432, 322 and G1, which had their service changes in the February-May corridor.

Let's start with the earliest of changes.

Route 415:
DLA227 (X427FGP) by Brixton Police Station

DLA273 (Y473UGC) also passing Brixton Police Station
but towards Elephant & Castle

Created on 3rd March 2008 to reroute 333 to Stockwell as residents on the Brixton Hill corridor desperately needed one and replaced the 333 between Brixton to Kennington via Brixton Road aswell as create a new link to Elephant & Castle from Tulse Hill estate which would increase the amount of buses passing along the Tulse Hill section which was from 12.5bph offpeak and 17.5bph peak to 17.5bph offpeak and 20bph peak.

VLA22 (LJ53BFL) by Tulse Hill Tavern
Abellio 2404 (SN61DFU) used on 415's first day with Abelliobecause there were only 2 MMCs ready for service.
Arriva lost the contract of this route for bidding the route with existing Euro2 DLAs.

Route 432:

Arriva London VLA2 (LJ03MYR) nearby the old West Norwood Fire Station

VLA75 (LJ54BEO) by West Norwood Library
Created on 15th February 2003 to replace the congested section of route 2 between West Norwood Bus Garage and Crystal Palace. By 26 July 2003, it got extended to Anerley to open up some links and free some space at Crystal Palace Bus Station. By 2nd April 2005, the route was given low floor buses in the form of a mixture of Alexander ALX400 bodied Volvo B7TL 10m/10.6m (VLA) and DAF DB250LF 10.2m (DLA) buses, formerly allocated Leyland Titans (L). In 2014, it was announced Arriva have lost the route, and were rumours about it being bidded with existing VLAs (by Arriva), however the successful bidder of the route was Go-Ahead London General with existing 60/61reg Wright Eclipse Gemini 2 bodied Volvo B9TL (WVL380-4/435-9) from route 12 which received New Routemasters.

We come to the menaces 322 and G1, with the last standard Enviro200s in London aswell as the second 15-reg Enviro200s Go-Ahead London have ordered (first being SE232-4 for W19 to replace the elderly DWs on the route from 201 which covered a PVR increase)

Route 322:

Abellio 8037 (BU05HFX) by West Norwood Cemetary in April 2014

To see the route's past go to either link (londonbuses.co.uk) or (londonbusroutes.net)

By 01/05/10, Connex won the route as Travel London then branding themselves as Abellio won the franchise from National Express, Travel London decided to use existing buses from G1 (8024-37 with most gone elsewhere and 8033 sent to TF) which meant that the contract, which specified new buses was an reuse of existing buses, but allocated to their switch of routes! LDP263-71 322>G1 and 8024-37 G1>322.

As I'm sure you know, Go-Ahead London General returned into the game of pass the parcel game by winning the route and retaining the G1 with new Euro6 spec Enviro200 9.0m equipped with a 6-speed ZF Ecolife.
8061 (X322KRX) on Gipsy Hill
Now on to the last route of the day...

Route G1:

So the G1, had a mammoth sized history to it, being 27 years old.

Thank you for reading this large post, enjoy the pictures, and tah-rah ;)

LDP268 (LX05EYP) by Streatham St. Leonard's Church
LDP266 (LX05EYT) by Streatham Station
LDP270 (LX05EYY) leaving Streatham St. Leonard's Church bus stop

Go-Ahead London General WHV21 (LJ61NVG) as the first hybrid on the route and the first rare working under Go-Ahead London, in just a week! WHV21 is on Westow Hill en-route Brixton

Another SDO, with Go-Ahead London Central E128 (LX09FCE), one of 345's batch and is debatably the best Euro4 ZF Enviro400s London has.

VLA66 (LJ04YWV) running light to the bus stand in Brixton, Stockwell Road Park.

VLA23 (LJ53BFM) by Tulse Hill Tavern just before evening last winter 2014, in December.
Abellio 2515 (YX15OWD) by Morval Road on 415 to Tulse Hill, many say these are the best MMCs in London, I haven't boarded them yet, but only 109s so I have pretty much no say on any of the MMCs.

Abellio 2406 (SN61DFX) on stand on Hardel Rise

8321 (YX10EBA) on Park Hall Road/Robson Road divison.

SE238 (YY15CNN) at Brockwell Park

8065 (SK02TZN) leaving Brixton Academy

SE251 (YY15HKB) turning into Mitcham Lane to serve it's next stop, Streatham St. Leonard's Church.

SE241 (YY15CNV) at West
Norwood Cemetary
