Originally this post was spurred out of thought of the frequency cuts and the possibility of making extras instead as short workings. Caveat however, I've already covered that. Linky linky.
So instead, I've spun this idea differently. The different routes we've had tube extras on.

Celebrating the Elizabeth Line inauguration even if it means on the 6th June there's a strike.
Things have gotten rather weird as during the 1 and 3 March 2022 strikes, a lot of unusual extras have happened, I will briefly cover them but it is likely I would have missed some.
For starters, extras that are of the norm since before 2022, some have changed destination over the years or route altogether:
Line closure extras:
2: Brixton-Hyde Park (Victoria Line) since 2009 as dedicated rail replacements were ceased then
2: Brixton-Hyde Park (Victoria Line) since 2009 as dedicated rail replacements were ceased then
N5: Edgware - Euston until 9AM (Northern Line)
N8: Liverpool Street-Hainault (Central Line)
N8: Liverpool Street-Hainault (Central Line)
9: Hammersmith - Hyde Park Corner (Piccadilly Line)
N20: Barnet Church - Euston until 9AM (Northern Line)
22: Green Park - Putney Bridge (District)
25: Ilford-Stratford (TfL Rail)
25: Ilford-Stratford (TfL Rail)
29: Turnpike Lane - Holloway Nags Head (Piccadilly Line)
74: Hyde Park Corner - Putney Bridge (District)
N91: Cockfosters - King's Cross (Piccadilly Line)
94: Shepherd's Bush - Oxford Circus (Central Line)
108: Stratford - Canning Town (Jubilee Line, though usually also when Blackwall Tunnel closed)
108: Stratford - North Greenwich (Jubilee Line)
110/391: Turnham Green - Richmond (District)
133: Kennington-Moorgate Finsbury Square (or Euston on weekends/evenings) in 1996
733: Oval-Moorgate Finsbury Square during 2022 Northern Line closure
161: North Greenwich-Woolwich (DLR)
214: Camden Town - Moorgate (Northern, 2018)
238: Stratford - East Ham Newham Town Hall (District)
285: Kingston - Feltham (driver strikes)
382: Finchley Central - Mill Hill East (Northern Line)
474: North Woolwich-Canning Town (DLR)
490: Heathrow Terminal 5 - Hatton Cross (Piccadilly)
Obviously the 391 is withdrawn having been replaced by 110.
Post-script after posting: I added 382 after a Northern Line engineering works was announced between 11/12 June, closing Archway to High Barnet/Mill Hill East.
Perhaps with the Elizabeth Line's future now that it actually is an open line, that we could see a closure. One that could spawn an extra on a route, the most likely to be the 472 as the quickest and most direct between North Greenwich and Abbey Wood.

Temporary routes:
558: Seven Sisters - Chingford Mount (Victoria)
733: already mentioned
I haven't prepared a map nor have I added the 558 despite adding 733 in technicality. The 558 was a short-lived but much-loved and very well used service, paralleling the 158 from Chingford Mount before splitting off at Blackhorse Lane to follow the Victoria Line to meet it at Seven Sisters. Back then the 158 was much less frequent but now the 158 is among the most frequent routes in East London.
The 733 hasn't hit the same touch, being a defacto 133 clone with another number and not being any quicker (i.e not being express or limited stop). It also being a City route at a time of recovering from the pandemic is another factor but alas, recency bias trumps now.
No, in my defence last time it was 133 who had extras, not a new number called 733.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Finally the bizarre entries and normal entries alike that has been waited for.
It's safe to say I've missed many but even with the many that I have documented, they've changed over time. Routes such as 2 only had extra since around 2009, before then the southern end of the Victoria Line had rail replacements like any other.
It goes without saying routes in the Line closure extra list apply to the below, in order to not clutter space with duplicate entries.
Tube strike extras and ???:
8: Bow - Liverpool Street (2015)
Holborn - Bethnal Green (2022)
9: Green Park - Hammersmith (2019, 2022)
11: Liverpool Street - Sloane Square (2017)
15: Trafalgar Square - Blackwall (2014)

214: Camden Town - Moorgate (2014)
N277: ???
C1 ??? (2013)
H91: Hounslow West - Hammersmith (many)
As a bus person, I somehow had to involve buses, albeit in this short, snappy and quick post.
Regardless, the wait has ended and the CrossrailpurpElizabeth Line exists! Rejoice! The 4 years of delay hasn't extended further! With that, stay safe, perhaps enjoy the Elizabeth Line, and until the next one, happy bus cuts.
