News Update 26 March:
Didn't notice it's been a week since I last updated this page, having basically had a week off but still working.
Anyways as you'd have known, 259 has commenced Arriva operation, Stagecoach took over the remaining little routes 362/462 and Go-Ahead have started 76 with free bus (LT) operation too, with the new innovative "Tottenham Hale BUS STATION" blind display.

Some of the displaced Trident East Lancs from 388 are with the Leeds counterpart of CT Plus. Meanwhile it's confirmed Quality Line ordered 10 new 11.1m Optare Versas for 411/465's retain.

I apologise for my late editing, in compensation I have a post due which I hope to upload today!

ENS27 Edmonton (EC) -> Thornton Heath (TH)
TEH1229 Cricklewood (W) -> Edgware (EW)

News Update 19 March:
The BYD electric that was demonstrated on 360 will go to Brighton for route 50 whilst being aided by Arriva StreetAir LK16ETA. Whilst mentioning Go-Ahead, it seems 379 will receive Streetlites.

Seems I forgot to mention TE833 collided with a car in Hendon whilst on 240. On the topic of Metroline, the West division sees 83/483's VWs in process of refurbishment.

News Update 18 March:
The Enviro400 City demonstrator used by Arriva (for 78 type training) and CT Plus (26 type training), as well as Reading Buses, has been brought by CT Plus as 2538.

Route branding will return to the London Bus scene, and will be tested in the Barking and Hayes areas for half a year as well as Arriva's VLA18 which will have route branding for the 19. 70% of allocated buses will have them so as to not have the contradictory stray whilst having route branding for another route.

Metroline's DE1683 and RATP's TA313 have returned from their accidents.

News Update 17 March:
427's MMCs have commenced delivery, meanwhile 195/U5 may start off with Abellio from Twickenham (TF). Abellio've also withdrawn some of their Rail Replacement bound remaining Tridents.

The 4 Streetlites, WS75-8 ordered for 455 are to go to another route, possibly the 39. X26's WVL334-49 (off ELT) will have luggage racks and converted to single door. 101 retaining WVL468-80 (also off ELT, but originally bought for 249). New Cross (NX) will also prepare for the electric charges for the Optare MetroDecker electric due for 36.

2436 Walworth (WL) -> Hayes (WS)

News Update 11 March:
Mobility route 931 will be withdrawn on 24th March.

Go-Ahead London have taken operation of 379 from Arriva with ex-Metrobus 229 and 230, both Dart Esteems released but still in within Go-Ahead covering for new buses or accidents.
Stagecoach commenced operation on 167/549 with Enviro200s released from Catford (TL) or Rainham (RM) either directly or indirectly.
Speaking of Stagecoach, it seems Leyton (T)'s redevelopment finally has a starting point with a notice, though the actual development is planned around next year.

SEN25/6 Northumberland Park (NP) -> Orpington (MB)

News Update 9 March:
Unfortunately due to being very busy these days and it's a bit of a struggle to even compile things these days, expect this process to be widened to a frequency of every 3 or so days, apologies.

Aside from that, one of the new MMCs due for 380 have entered service on P4, 36627. Two new HVs for Norwood (N) have entered service on 2, and ENS26 from Edmonton (EC) formerly on routes 397/W11 has started it's new role at Thornton Heath (TH) for route 410.

VW1894 has had an accident this morning on route 18 at 8:40, checking other recent accidents this month, TA313 on 131 and renumbered DLE30023 on H98 on the 2nd, 18270 on 97 and 36280 on 366 on the 7th, and 8783 on 433 on the 4th.

Seems 9026 has been withdrawn from it's fire whilst on rail replacement.

ENS26 Edmonton (EC) -> Thornton Heath (TH)
HV17 Tottenham (AR) -> Brixton (BN)

News Update 6 March:
Tower Transit's new Evoseti's for route 82(13) have entered service on route 23 momentarily.
It also seems 455 will not gain Streetlites but the intended extra allocation was formed from SOEs of Sutton (A) from route 80.

News Update 4 March:
Go-Ahead have commenced operation on 101 from Barking (RR) with the ex-249 WVL468-80 brought in for the frequency/route enhancements for EL1/2 last year. Route 455 from Abellio London (with secondhand Caetanos) now utilises 8 ex-413 SEs and to-arrive brand new Streetlites which are late, so 152 has lent some of it's own SEs whilst taking in WVLs from Putney (AF).
CT Plus have also commenced operation, but on former Arriva W11 and former Go-Ahead W16 with brand new Enviro200 MMCs, of both YY66 and YX17 plates.

News Update 3 March:
101 changing this Saturday and some of 474's buses are already blinded.
On another note, Metrobus' 974 had a fire whilst on route 353.

19799 Barking (BK) -> Bromley (TB)

News Update 2 March:
More LTs have arrived which meant that EL1 and EL2 have started their LT allocation phasing in which should mean that the necessary 59-reg WVLs should be released for route 101 in time for the coming Saturday.
At time of updating, it seems an MCV Evoseti for Tower Transit has entered service on route 31.

SE246 Plough Lane (PL) -> Putney (AF)
19800/2/3 Barking (BK) -> Bromley (TB)

News Update 1 March:
First crash of March is Stagecoach 19855 on route 62 of which the driver had a heart attack which led to the bus swerving into a nearby house.
Another bus, Metroline West's DE1791, has also crashed, on route 195.
There's word DW249/77-89 which have been refurbished for the 417 contract to be destined for route 221 instead which was intended with the leftover Ts from route 133 lumbering inside Norwood (N) right now and in formal service on 2/417.

SE281 Merton (AL) -> Plough Lane (PL)
DW334 Norwood (N) -> Wood Green (WN)

News Update 28 February:
It's the last day of February, and something must finish what's last, in this particular scenario, London United's LT155 crashed from the Orpheus Street (Camberwell) stand into a van and house. Speaking of RATP, two VLPs of theirs will become hybrids.
However going back to crashes, 9431 which was on 172 was rear ended by a car in Brockley..

Streetlites to make up the unknown buses for 455's requirement of 11, of which 8 are filled in by ex-413 Enviro200s.
Arriva's HVs will be delayed slightly due to the weather conditions up in Ireland with ferry cancellations. Metroline's last VWH for 140/182 has entered service on the last permissible day of 66-reg.

News Update 27 February:
Abellio have put on an interesting show during their Rail Replacement service of which 9026 has burnt into a crisp in Poplar and 9043 went under a low bridge and thus was involved in a Road Traffic Accident.

G1 and 424 swap has finally taken action.

News Update 25 February:
Arriva have taken over 48 today with DWs released by 50 (HVs transfer from Tottenham [AR], whom received new HVs for 259) and 242 (brand new HVs displacing 242's DWs), including 4 LTs released by 38 in the 23x series.
CT Plus have commenced operation of 397 from Arriva with brand new Enviro200 MMCs.

Whilst I was carried away by taking a picture of 8346 on route 433 and recording it with two phones (the Lumia 625 and Ace 3 for reasons of having them for no reason and utilising this scenario), there were tenders announced even though they were of no interest.

4 Contract retained by Metroline. PVR 18>19. New Euro6 hybrid double decks. 30/9/17.
210 Contract retained by Metroline. PVR 17. Existing 2010 Euro5 diesel double decks. 23/9/17.

News Update 23 February:
Route 178 will receive a partial allocation of double deckers in the form of 5 Tridents in order to free Enviro200s for the 167 gain shortly after.
Word has been going around that Arriva plan on withdrawing 402 from Bromley due to making not much money from the section, with rumours of a replacement for Arriva's 402 until roughly just a bit after the boundary. It's been mentioned somewhere though, the 402 would be curtailed at Dunton Green from 15 July, rather than intended 4 days which was very sudden.

DOE17 Sutton (A) -> Peckham (PM)
MHV42/44 Peckham (PM) -> Sutton (A)
SE276/8/9 Merton (AL) -> Plough Lane (PL)
SEN30/6/7 Plough Lane (PL) -> Merton (AL)

News Update 22 February:
Routes 39/424 are now gaining their Euro6 allocation swaps from 164(not 80 as intended)/G1, transfers listed below.

Another Arriva fleet shuffle plan, 259 will replay the 157 scenario by having buses based in Edmonton (EC) but drivers basically from Tottenham (AR) due to lack of space in the latter depot, having said that Edmonton (EC) is due to be closed but for the time being will remain open.
     19 will be based in Tottenham (AR) completely, Palmers Green (AD) will get an extension to have roughly 40 extra buses so as to allow Edmonton (EC) to close, when the extension is finished of course. Barking (DX) is being looked at if an expansion is possible too.
     Having mentioned Arriva, 242's new HVs are already rolling into service and more of 259's batch appearing on other Tottenham (AR) routes.
     The recent transfer of 76's HVs to Brixton (BN) is a two-birds-one-stone phase, where 133 finally gets contractual allocation whilst also throwing off DWs to Ash Grove (AE) to start off 48 which it's LTs will be late, 48 will start with those, 5 LTs and DWs being released by Clapton (CT) with 242's conversion to HVs.
   Moreover on Arriva related news, rumours say 41 may be moving to Wood Green (WN). T154 has returned from it's fire on Arriva's first day on route 64.

VLA99 has been converted to hybrid and called a visit by one of the royals. Speaking of hybrid conversions, WVL94 (photo credit to smiler52) has been refurbished.

Routes 100/388 route changes (100 cut to London Wall from Elephant, 388 rerouted at Liverpool Street to Elephant & Castle via current 100) are planned in April.
   The mention of 388 springs that more Citys for the route are entering service too.
SEN43 has returned from it's accident inside Stockwell (SW) with an LT and has new front bumper and headlights as well as frames.
Leyton (T) have already started seeing promised Barking (BK) Enviro400s from 387 for route 215, whom will release Scanias to leaser.

T323 Dartford (DT) -> Grays (GY) [Loan]

News Update 21 February:
As Stagecoach planned a rebrand, Arriva followed suite with a different logo. Speaking of Stagecoach, as the E200MMCs for route 462 may be late, released 56-reg E200s from 273 will be used temporarily, however they're mooted to be the extra allocation for R7's consulted extension from Bickley to Chislehurst.
It also seems 58 is not getting it's Sunday/evening frequency enhancement, contradictory of the said suburban route improvements word.

HV6 Tottenham (AR) -> Brixton (BN)

News Update 20 February:
HV4/5 Tottenham (AR) -> Brixton (BN)
MHV41/43 Peckham (PM) -> Sutton (A)

News Update 19 February:
Tower Transit's B5LH Evoseti's, MHV38201-51 for routes 13[82]/58/308 have all been registered and they appear to be London's first 17-reg buses alongside Arriva's Gemini 3's for routes 19/2/249.
New diesel single decks have been ordered for 70 temporarily until it's intended electric buses arrive, a win-win situation as the electrics may not arrive in time and there's a fleet load of DPSs lying about.

DOE19/43 Sutton (A) -> Peckham (PM)
MHV29 Peckham (PM) -> Sutton (A)

News Updates 18 February:
Finally the ELT's long due LTs have started service, but on EL3 (387) which has been taken from Stagecoach. 19777 was the last Stagecoach 387 at 40 mins past midnight. LT907 was the first ELT LT and EL3 at 5:00, so far no LT has done either EL1 or EL2.

News Update 17 February:
SLS5 has returned after having an accident with it's front nearside on 450. Carousel's refurbished ex-Red Arrow Citaros have finally started service within the company.

11 9m Enviro200 MMCs ordered for 394. There also seems to be an issue of whether Barking (BK) will take 549 (due to having other E200MMCs) or West Ham (WH) (to save BK one less bus and route).

DOE39/40 Sutton (A) -> Peckham (PM)
MHV28/34 Peckham (PM) -> Sutton (A)

News Update 16 February:
Norwood (N)'s batch of B5LH Gemini 3's for routes 2/249 are coming in one by one slowly, with 2 months left for 249's takeover.

WHV43 seems to have returned from it's sudden unknown accident on 119 in November last year.
Also, Hammersmith Bridge emergency works have come in to place which means routes had to be diverted or curtailed, in this case 33 was curtailed to Lonsdale Road as a result.

The issue Abellio have with winning 195/427 but no space seems to have been slightly planned out as Southall won't open in time, the transfers being
195/427 still under review
350 from Hayes (WS) to Twickenham (TF) from 25th March permanently
E5 from Hayes (WS) to Twickenham (TF) from 25th March until Southall opens
K1 from Twickenham (TF) to Beddington Cross (BC) temporarily from 11th March until Twickenham (TF) has space

In other news TfL have been mumbling about cutting 465 (from Dorking to Leatherhead) to save some money, but is pending consultation first, which may be of no worth as per most consultations.

Meanwhile with the EL3 takeover, tiles have already been placed and route/type training should be near finished as come Saturday, 387 will be reincarnated into EL3.

No bus type confirmed yet but 70/C1 will be converted into electric once RATP commence new contracts.

Stagecoach's new Enviro MMCs have commenced service on intended 273/277 after being a week or so later than contract retention on both routes

And one last news bite on this pretty large meal....W19's having it's frequency reduced from every 12 to 13 due to CT Plus having a hard time coping with the reliability of the service.

News Update 14 February:
If you've checked London Vehicle Finder this morning, you may have spotted an unidentified bus on C10, which was later revealed to be 8504. This alongside it's sisters (8502-6) were supposed to be accepted by Ensign but they were rejected due to bad condition..

MHV27/35 Peckham (PM) -> Sutton (A)

News Update 13 February:
The transfer of 462's Streetlites have begun with WS6 being in Orpington (MB).
In other news, Westbourne Park (X) has it's garage extension opened, photo by willwatson328.

News Update 11 February:
Seems the introduction of 84A was only to be withdrawn a hefty amount of months later...84 would take on the frequency of current combined 84/84A, of which 84A will be gone from Friday 7 April onwards.
Also worth noting the MetroDecker EV has arrived at a summit, alongside a KMB Enviro500 of some sort.
U4/N207 transfer to Uxbridge implies that 207 crosslinks with N207 will be buses from Uxbridge (UX), at the moment TEs seem to be fulfilling that role.
An accident occurred along Brixton Hill as routes that serve that stretch were diverted via Effra Road, Tulse Hill and Christchurch Road back to line of route, the accident has been cleared now though.

Slowly transferring:

- 289 - 3 new Euro6 buses on top of existing 11. Route to be rerouted away from double runs in Waddon Marsh and Croydon Colonnades.
- 636/7 replaced by 638 fully.
- Additional AM peak journey on 341 from Northumberland Park to Waterloo withdrawn
- 150D withdrawn, replaced by extra AM/PM journeys on 150 in both peak hours.
- Presumably 255's allocation for example are typos so don't think it will 100% happen, typos can occur as we're all human.

At the moment nothing of rock solid value but it seems 291 may be a route which jumps from small sized (9.3m) Enviro200s to double deckers as it's been double deck tested quite a long time ago and passed (except trees need to be trimmed a little). Having said that 291 is a busy route, and was ironically once a double deck route before suddenly (without a route change) converting from Leyland Titans to what was once named 'breadvans' (vans being the smallest buses in service at the time).

Due to Putney air pollution, 93 (allocated DOEs on contract) has swapped it's DOEs with 63's MHVs. The previously mentioned 424/G1 allocation swap will also occur (424 with 6 SEs and G1 with 6 LDPs off 424, whilst having a few more SEs as G1's PVR is much bigger than 424's). 39 will also swap it's refurbished SENs with 80's newer Euro6 Enviro200s. Transfers have already begun.
Also seems the MECs Carousel have received from routes 507/521 are MEC21/42-45/47-49, and coded 876-83.

DOE1 Sutton (A) -> Peckham (PM)

News Update 6 February:
It seems the 2 61reg allocated to 152, 8775/6 are withdrawn, had their wayfarer and iBus removed. 8309 of P13 is also withdrawn following the fire of 8310 and decommissioning of 8318.

News Update 3 February:
EN18 Enfield (E) -> Heathrow (HE).

News Update 2 February:
HV211 shouldn't see service for a short while due to reversing into bollards during type training in Clapton (CT).
WVL94 is the next to be converted into a hybrid and will probably be refurbished.

News Update 1 February:
As indirectly obvious the bus cuts in central London favours an increase in the suburb areas whilst also maintaining similar enough money.
In other news Arriva's new HVs for 242 have started delivery.

Meanwhile, 69's virtual electric bus trial will be extended for 6 months and the Volvo B5LHC SRM (with overhead pantograph charging) will be for a Go-Ahead route....for what though?

News Update 29 January:
More Arriva HVs are being made and it seems the order was swapped around, HV201-26 for 242 instead of 259, HV227-48 for 259 instead of 242, HV249-79 for 19 still and HV280-323 for 2/249.
And Go-Ahead's EI1 has crashed on route 108, details unknown.
East London Transit's ELT batches are numbered LT903-53 (batch of 51 buses).

News Update 27 January:
Well whilst I've been busy with my stuff and couldn't exactly get to this and only was aware of quite lately, that the 266 tender was announced.

266 Contract awarded to Metroline West from Tower Transit. Euro4 2007 existing double deck (currently allocated to 17/217). PVR from 26 to 27. 29 July 2017. Short-term 2 year contract which expires in December 2019 (to align with Elizabeth Line introduction).

News Update 25 January:
Seems one of TfL's new trialling equipment is targeted for Oxford Street's cyclists and pedestrians...a beeping noise fitted outside of the bus, VWH2118 in this case (also on National Express' coaches) to warn people.
It also seems E10's E200s have been recoded to ENNs (ENN25-33) and gained the 'Arriva, a DB company' logo with it.

News Update 24 January:
Whilst there's not much out in the blue, I've been playing OMSI a lot, confirmed by London Bus Routes.net is that 76's date changed from 28th January to 25th March, including timetable improving to cater for 20mph speed limits on 476.

News Update 20 January:
It seems route H26's E200MMCs have the Voith gearbox with the start-stop technology, Abellio have never willingly ordered a Voith gearbox'd bus (though it's predecessors did) until this date, due to economical and emission reasons.

HA43 has entered service on 319 as the first HA on a Brixton (BN) route (and not in general as 2 was).
Bexleyheath (BX)'s E44 has returned from it's accident a few months back.

News Update 18 January:
It's been confirmed 97 will gain the owned Scanias allocated to 48 and some from 277, of which the leased Scanias will, obviously go off lease (and I suspect some of those will be bought by Sullivan for new gains/retains recently). Just refreshing news from before, 215 will gain E400s released from 101/387, 277 with new E400MMCs and some ex-101/387 E400s.

LT172/88 Stamford Hill (SF) -> Brixton (BN)
230 Barking (RR) -> Stockwell (SW), covering for accident damaged SEN43

News Update 16 January:
23 of 31 LTs allocated to 137 from Brixton (BN) will move to Norwood (N) to make space in Brixton (BN) for 133/333 transfer.
118 confirmed to transfer from Croydon (C) to Stockwell (SW) on the 28th.

News Update 15 January:
According to Sullivan (on their site), they won the 603..
In other news, it seems LT578 on 149 is the first bus fire of 2017, and first LT fire, conveniently occurred at Tottenham Fire Station.
It's also apparent the E10 will be novated, but not to Abellio nor Metroline..?

News Update 14 January:
It seems Vantage Power has converted WVL95 into a hybrid, pic by Mike..
Apparently 76 will change to Go-Ahead on date of 259 change (21 March instead of 28 January) to better coincide with operator convenience.

News Update 12 January:
Leyton (T)'s Scanias which are all leased will return to their leaser, nothing planned to replace 48's lost foothold in the depot either, and seems the Selkent subsidiary has space for one or two routes.
Some routes (6, 18, 98) are due permanent frequency reductions with 18 receiving a PVR of 44 from 48, 98 with 23 from 25.

Tenders too!
131 Contract awarded to London General from London United. Euro5 2010 existing DD. PVR 21. 30/9/17.
411 Contract retained by Quality Line. Euro6 new SD. PVR 7>6. 30/9/17.
465 Contract retained by Quality Line. TBC. PVR 7>TBC. 1/7/17.
605 Contract awarded to Sullivan Buses from London Sovereign. Euro5 2009 existing DD. PVR 2. 2/9/17.
628/688 Contract retained by Sullivan Buses. Euro5 2009 existing DD. PVR 6. 2/9/17.
632 Contract retained by Metroline. Euro4 2009 existing DD. PVR 3. 14/10/17.
653/683 Contract retained by Sullivan Buses. Euro5 2009 existing DD. PVR 5. 2/9/17.

Notes:
For Sullivan-related wins/retains, existing leased Scanias will be utilised, currently on route 48.
For route 632, buses will be sourced from loss of 82.
As for 131 gain, buses used will be from 259.
TBC = To Be Confirmed     SD = Single Deck     DD = Double Deck.

I take note the amount of buses that had accidents this month:
WVL3 last seen on 249, 4/1
PVL395 last seen on 200, 10/1
SEN43 last seen on 315, 11/1 (last night)
LT511 last seen on 88, 5/1
VW1067 last seen on 237, 7/1
TEH1109 last seen on 32, 11/1 (yesterday)
LT611 last seen on 211, 5/1
Abellio 2510 last seen on 109, 4/1

News Update 9 January:
Today's tube strike means extras are running out on routes that parallel tube lines, for example, 2 and Victoria or 29 and Piccadilly, etc etc. As a result of that, 2's the first route to see a City on it from the HA20-53 batch despite being intended for 133/333. Tri-axles seen on 25 and short Darts/E200s from Uno on 108. Routemasters on 9. RMLs on 29. Gemini's 9022/28/30/31 on 211. Sullivan's E43 on 298, and it seems their new E200MMCs are on Piccadilly rail replacement.

Seems SE235 makes a return since September after roaring...or is that all to it?..

Seems some of Putney (AF)'s new E400MMC hybrids will be used on the upcoming Oxted-Sevenoaks rail replacement. In turn, New Cross (NX)'s PVL354 and Peckham (PM)'s WVL313 are on loan to Putney (AF).

News Update 7 January:
It seems 14 10.8m BYD E200MMCs have been ordered for route 360 to arrive at June the earliest with charging points installed in Camberwell (Q).
Meanwhile, the StreetAir EV 10.6m has been seen around Gipsy Hill.
And around 3 E400Citys have been delivered to Brixton (BN).
It also seems we exceeded the annual pollution limit...

News Update 4 January:
It's been decided that W6 will be upgraded with 397/W11's ENSs once they leave to CT Plus in April, and W6 will receive a new schedule with Tottenham (AR) controlling the route (buses remain at Enfield [E]).

It also seems CT Plus got a hold of ex-Abellio 2400 (YY64GXG), the E400MMC (diesel) demonstrator from 2014, apparent to replace their burnt out City, 2510.
Meanwhle HV23 transferred from Tottenham (AR) to Brixton (BN), the 20th HV for 133/333 (others being HV24-40/46/47).
Also, DW524 which lost part of it's upper deck to a lorry has returned.

News Update 1 January:
Seems the first bus to appear under LVF's 'rare' section was PVL376 on the N87...and just less than an hour to 2017, an actual rare working, a TE made it on route N207....
Speaking of N207, 207's due to have it's SNs dropped for 427's VWs as the SNs were leased by First and need to go as their contracted time has come, as 207's PVR is higher than 427's, buses from Holloway (HT) released from 17's contract renewal will make up for the extra buses.
And in other news, it's rumoured for 118 to transfer to Stockwell (SW) once 333 leaves to Arriva.
